My Beliefs

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is a Christian religion based on the same gospel taught by Jesus Christ and organized after the church that He established while He was here on earth. It was founded, or restored, in 1830 by the first Latter-day prophet, Joseph Smith. We believe that the Bible is the world of God as far as it is translated correctly. We also believe in and study another book of scripture called The Book of Mormon, which was translated by Joseph Smith through the power of God from a record kept by the ancient people of the Americas. To view an online version of The Book of Mormon, click here.

We believe that God still speaks to prophets today through revelation. To read the words of modern day prophets, follow this link. Prophets and apostles address the church in what we call General Conference, which is held twice a year. They also address us throughout the year in different church-published magazines. Online versions of these magazines can be found here.
